A known fault on Discovery 3 models 2006-2009 and Range Rover Sport models 2006-2009 will sometime experience handbrake module problems. These issues can either present themselves as a screeching noise coming from the rear axle as well as sometimes finding the handbrake module sticking in place. Both of these issues will result in the module needing to be replaced.
This unit is a brand new item produced as a Genuine Land Rover product. It will fit all Discovery 3 models as well as Range Rover Sport models from 2006-2009. When fitting this handbrake module it is considered good practice to also replace the following

Pair of Rear Brake Discs
